    David Mamagulashvili is the Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor and Director of the Institute of Economics and Management of Tver State University.
    Having served in the Soviet army (1982-1984), David Mamagulashvili entered the preparatory department of Kaliningrad State University and in 1990 successfully graduated from the Faculty of Economics with a degree in Labor Economics and qualification of an economist. He has been working at Tver State University since 1990. The total record of scientific and teaching experience makes 28 years.
    He was awarded the degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences by the Dissertation Council of Moscow State Institute of Electronic Engineering (Technical University) and approved by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation in 2005. In 2007, he was awarded the academic title of associate professor.
    In 1998, David Mamagulashvili was appointed the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics for Academic Affairs; from 2006 to 2016, he was the Dean of the Faculty of Economics of Tver State University; in 2016 he was elected the Director of the Institute of Economics and Management of Tver State University. The total record of his service as a Dean of the Faculty and Director of the Institute makes 14 years.
    From 2007 to 2017, he also served as a head of the Department of Economics and Production Management.
    David Mamagulashvili participated repeatedly in regional and international scientific conferences. He has 76 scientific and educational publications including a study guide "Organizational Behavior" and a monograph "Stress Management in a Commercial Bank" (co-authored).
    He is a chair of the Academic Council of the Institute of Economics and Management, a member of the Academic Council of Tver State University, a member of the Board of the Ministry of Economic Development of Tver Region, a member of the Expert Council at the Legislative Assembly of Tver Region, an expert of the Standing Committee on Entrepreneurship at the Legislative Assembly of Tver region, and a member of the Expert Council of the Fund for Industrial Development of Tver Region.
    Being headed by David Mamagulashvili, the Institute of Economics and Management is dynamically developing and adapting to changes and challenges in the field of education. The institute maintains appropriate ethical environment meeting the students’ needs for quality and competitive education in economics and management.
    David Mamagulashvili ensures students’ involvement in scientific activities providing on-going personal supervision and assistance for the Student Economic Scientific Society established at the Institute of Economics and Management. He received a Gratitude for organizing and holding the IV International Congress of Young Scientists on Sustainable Development (2018) and a Letter of Gratitude for students’ participation in the competition "Competitiveness of the Territory: Mesoeconomics" in the framework of the X Eurasian Economic Forum of Youth (2019).
    Led by David Mamagulashvili, the Institute of Economics and Management of Tver State University successfully cooperates with business organizations of Tver and Tver region on issues of practical training of students and formation of professional competences within the framework of educational programs implemented at the Institute. For the contribution to the training of qualified specialists and fruitful cooperation, he was awarded the Gratitude of the Commissioner for the Protection of Rights of Entrepreneurs in Tver Region.
    David Mamagulashvili has got the following awards: honorary certificates and gratitude of the Rector of Tver State University, Gratitude of the Federal Agency for Education (2006), Honorary Certificate of the Governor of Tver Region (1997, 2001, 2011), Honorary Certificate of the Head of the City of Tver (2013), Honorary Certificate of the Legislative Assembly of Tver Region (2009, 2013), Gratitude of the Governor of Tver Region (2006, 2007), Honorary Certificate of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation (2013), a lapel badge "For Merits in the Development of Tver State University" (2013), Honorary Certificate of the Ministry of Economic Development of Tver Region (2013), Honorary Certificate of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation (2017).
