    Nadezhda Bedenko is the Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Economics of Enterprise and Management at the Institute of Economics and Management of Tver State University, and a corresponding member of the International Academy of Education.
    In 1990, she graduated from the Faculty of Economics of Kaliningrad State University with a degree in Labor Economics.
    In 2004, Nadezhda Bedenko was awarded a degree of Candidate of Philosophical Sciences by the Dissertation Council of Tver State University on the basis of the defense of the PhD thesis "Social Competence of the Individual in Modern Urban Culture" with the specialty 09.00.11 – Social Philosophy.
    She was awarded an academic degree of the Doctor of Economics by the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation of February 10, 2014 No. 43-nk 9 on the basis of defense of a doctoral thesis "Management of the System of Quality Assessment of Services in the Higher Education on Meso — and Microlevels" with the specialty 08.05.02 –Economics and Management of the National Economy: Economy, Organization and Management of Enterprises, Industries, Complexes (Service Sector).
    Since 2014, she has been teaching at Tver State University as a Head of the Department of Management (2014-2017) and a Head of the Department of Economics of Enterprise and Management (after its reorganization in 2017). The total record of work experience is 37 years, the total record of teaching experience making 22 years.
    She is the head of general educational programs in the following areas: 38.03.02 Management – BA track ("Management in the organization", “Marketing”, "Healthcare Management", “Logistics and Supply Chain Management"); 38.04.02 Management – MA track – “Strategic and Corporate Governance”.
    She is an academic advisor of 5 PhD students of the general educational program 08.00.05 Economics and Management of the National Economy.
    She is a chair of the organizing committees of the Annual International Scientific and Practical Conference "Problems of Management of Socio-Economic Systems: Theory and Practice" and the Annual Regional Scientific and Practical Conference "Socio-Economic Systems: Organizational, Economic and Management Aspects" held by the Department of Economics of Enterprise and Management at TvSU.
    Her research interests include but are not limited to quality management of education, management of socio-economic systems, economy of the organization and economic security.
    She has 111 publications including 6 monographs, 6 Scopus and Web of Science publications, 28 papers included in the list of HAC of the Russian Federation. The Hirsch index is 8.
    She is a member of the Academic Council of TvSU.
    Since 2009, she has been serving as an expert of the contest committees for filling vacant positions of the state civil service under the Government of Tver region.
    She is an internal auditor of quality systems included in the Register of Internal Auditors of the All-Russian Quality Organization (Certificate No. VA-647-07). Ms Bedenko is actively engaged in promotion of ideas to improve the quality of higher education at the regional level (i.e., organization of presentations of the EFQM model – the European Foundation for Quality Management in Tver region).
    Nadezhda Bedenko has got the following awards: Gratitude of the Rector of TvSU (2015, 2017, 2018), Honorary Certificate of the Rector of TvSU (2015, 2017), Gratitude of the Governor of Tver Region (21.02.2012), Honorary Certificate of the Governor of Tver Region (29.11.2013), Honorary Certificate of the Russian Association of Social Tourism and Russian Trade Union of Cultural Workers (20.02.2006). She is a labor veteran (08.11.2006).
